These tires scored very well with our testers. They have softer sidewalls than any of the other tires in the test which makes them much easier to mount. Something you will be very happy to have if you need to change one on the trail. Also these tires are directional, so you get an intermediate tire and a hard pack tire all in one. They provide excellent feedback during braking and inspire confidence for hard acceleration out of corners. We ran them at the recommended pressure 15 psi front 12 psi rear at the track and they felt a little mushy on hard landings but filling them to 18 for the front and 15 for the rear they wo better behaved. On trails we went back to 15 and 12 psi, the soft side wall worked great, gripping well on loose rocks as well as sharp edge rocks with very little deflection.
