The XC Jacket is designed to be used in warmer temperatures than the Flack Jacket but it is no slouch when the temperature drops. External ventilation is provided by non-water proof zippers, one on each sleeve at the front of the elbow and two at the collar bone on each side of the zip. On the back air flows through the mesh liner via a horizontal flap at the base of the shoulders. The sleeves also come off turning the XC jacket into an vest when things warm up. They also contain removable CE approved elbow protection. As with the Flack Jacket a zippered pocket is provided to store the sleeves when removed while riding. Inside the XC is lined with a polyester mesh to provide comfort and reduce binding. The XC also has an inner pouch for water bladder and a small slit in the shell at the XC logo lets the tube out. A nice touch also available on the Flack Jacket.

The Faction Pant is SHIFT's top of the line riding pant constructed of nylon and polyester with full-grain leather knee panels for durability and heat resistance. They have an articulated waist and knees that conform to your riding position. Ventilation is provided by perforated front panels, which means it's always on. On colder days you will want to wear some sort of leggings underneath to keep chilly wind off.

Keeping the hands connected is the Faction Glove which is designed for moderate temperatures. Having a single layer Clarino palm and a breathable, flexible top for added airflow makes it a great choice when it's not too chilly.
