EDM:  Since some people out there may know nothing about you I'm going to ask some basic questions, like how old you are?
PJ:  I am 17... I had to think of that.
EDM:  Yeah I have to think of my age too…What is your date of birth?
PJ:  October 16 1990.
EDM:  Your home town?
PJ:  I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina.
EDM:  And your living in Stanley now?
PJ:  yeah I’m living in Stanley now.
EDM:  Favorite song?
PJ:   No.
EDM:  Really? You don’t listen to music?
PJ:  No I listen to music I just don’t have a favorite.
EDM:  Favorite food?
PJ:  Ummm… Pasta.
EDM:  Favorite pasta, pasta dish?
PJ:  Probably Chicken Alfredo.
EDM:  You like Olive Garden?
PJ:  Yeah olive garden is really good I like their salad.
EDM:  That all you can eat salad thing?
PJ:  Oh yeah.
EDM:  When did you start riding?
PJ:  I started riding on October 16 1999.
EDM: For real? Good Lord how do you know that?
PJ:  Cuz I got my first bike that day.
EDM:  Ah... That was your birthday.
PJ:  It was my birthday.
EDM:  So obviously your parents got you into riding?
PJ:  Yup.

EDM:  That’s cool. What was the bike you got?
PJ:  First bike was a Suzuki DS 80.
EDM:  You still have it?
PJ:  No that thing is long gone. I had that thing for about 2 months and then I got a KX 65.
EDM:  How old were you when you started racing?
PJ:  Uh. 9 it was 2 or 3 months after I got my first bike I think.
EDM:  Wow! So you got right into it?
PJ:  Yeah it might have been a little bit longer than that but I’m not sure…I want to say it was around 3 months later. 2 to 3 months.
EDM:  Do you know what your first race was?
PJ:  It was a race at Carolina State Park in Yemassee, SC and I remember I didn’t get last I think someone fell.
EDM:  Does that mean you didn’t?
PJ:  Well yeah…but I got smoked.
EDM:  Do you have a favorite race?
