VE:  Well no I do that on this side of the building and if you go over there, there is a paint room
EDM:  Oh you’re kidding really?  That’s kind of cool.
VE:  Yeah and I have been doing it for about 20 years… I learned it at the body shop. When I learned it I was working for UPS. That’s what I do during the day… the guys got a contract to paint the UPS trucks.  I would get off at night and drive the UPS trucks to the body shop and paint them and bring them back.  That was how I got started painting I was painting the UPS trucks.
EDM:  So you paint hot rods or you paint whatever?
VE:  Yeah just kind of mostly from this guy that builds wrecks. I paint a lot of wrecks or I'll paint a half a car… well most of them are new I get them from a couple of dealerships that come in with some scratches on the bumpers or hoods or whatever.
EDM:  What are you doing with UPS, do you have them sponsoring you?
VE:  They sponsor NHRA, NASCAR.
EDM:  That’s it they don’t touch motorcycles?
VE:  I don’t even know if they got a bike. But I did just see where they started top fuel cars.
EDM:  Somebody got smart. It’s all about someone knocking on the door enough times until they start hearing something you did.
EDM: How long have you worked at UPS?
VE: 27 years at UPS, no 29
EDM: Do you have a favorite race?
VE:  A 24 hour race
EDM:  Single solo endurance race
VE:  Its 6 riders on a team actually, they go out on their own and its lots of fun. You stay up 24 hours but it's riding at night... I love it.
EDM:  Is it just a loop?
VE:  Yeah a 12 mile loop 30 minutes a lap and we switch off we just switch off all night.
EDM:  Sounds like fun.
VE: It’s fun changing tires, change breaks, maybe an oil change and everybody is lit up. All the pits are right there next to each other so its lights up down pit road and they radar you. Everybody has to do the same speed coming in and going out.
EDM:  Where is this?
VE:  It’s in Alabama, Laurence is going to be in it this year Laurence was in it last year and Kenny just watched and now there both going to be in it and at night they’ll be in the woods and people are all in the woods watching the race.
EDM: watching the race?
VE:  Yeah watching the race.
