Mini Warriors 5: Generations Video Review

Mini Warriors 5: Generations is a new release from Working Dog Productions and Docy Andrews’ first follow up to the popular video series Mini Warriors 1-4. For her first attempt Andrews does a great job keeping to the style of the first 4 videos including tons of racing and behind the scenes footage.  As with past videos in the series, Mini Warriors 5 introduces several potential future MX stars – boys and girls and event touches a bit on what is going on in amateur road racing and FMX. Current Moto stars introduce us to prodigy under their guidance. Robbie Renner talks about what he will do after he puts the boots away and introduces the highly talented XChris Meyer from Spain. Ryan Hughes speaks about coaching super fast Amanda Meheu, 2 times Loretta’s 12-15 girls champ. With nearly a full decade between the last release of Mini Warriors we have seen several featured riders rise to the pinnacle of the sport, Davi Millsaps, James Stewart, Tommy and Will Hahn, and Travis Pastrana to name a few.

M5 is loaded with candid interviews by Stilez Robertson who takes over the reins from Malcolm McCassy who is apparently nowhere to be found. Has anyone seen Malcolm?

A brief segment shows moto legend, Malcolm Smith and his son Alexander camping and riding with Bruce Penhall and son. It’s cool to see these guys hanging out, roasting marsh mellows, putting out the camp fire, and roosting some of Big Bear Mountain’s vast network of trails. We were waiting for a sit down interview with Malcolm, but sadly it never materialized. It would have been nice to hear a few more words from him.

In addition to all the race footage and interviews throughout the vid, Docy includes nearly 18 minutes of bonus material – interviews.
Mini Warriors 5: Generations provides us with a good look at several potential superstars. Pick up a copy at and take a peek for yourself.
