RED BULL FIM MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS APPROACHING

The 62nd edition of the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations is coming up as the event will take place on September 28th at Donington Park, in Great Britain.

After last year´s success at the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations in the US (Budds Creek) Red Bull decided to be present at this spectacular event again. What is more, together with Youthstream Red Bull tries to upgrade this performance in 2008 at Donington Park.

The venue hosting the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations this year is Donington Park which entered the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar last year with the spectacular FOX Grand Prix of Great Britain –the first Motocross Grand Prix in the Midlands.

After demonstrating the quality of its organization in 2007 Donington is ready for this new challenge.

Tickets are already available online at www.donington-park.co.uk as well as via the international booking line +44 871 230 7134 (the number which the UK based fans can dial is 0871 230 7134).

Dirtbike Rider Magazine and Trials + Motocross News are the media partners of the event to spread its popularity throughout the country.

More information on the event is online at Donington Park’s website www.donington-park.co.uk.

The Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations is a unique competition happening only once a year; each Nation can take part in it with a selected group of three riders racing in three different classes: MX1, MX2 and MX Open. The racing program runs from Saturday until Sunday.

The American Team is currently the most successful with 18 Chamberlain Trophies –the unique trophy which is travelling home with each year’s MXoN winning team- to their name as they have been winning back to back events since 2005 (Ernee, France).

Team Great Britain is the second winningest team with 16 victories.

Last year in Budds Creek 35 Nations entered the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations which was televised worldwide.
