The 57th Corduroy National Championship Enduro

The Corduroy Enduro is Canada’s premier off-road motorcycle event and it’s also the longest running. This years 57th edition of the British Empire Motor Club’s classic will be held in Gooderham, Ontario on the 20th & 21st of September. Riders from all over Canada and the United States will be coming to test themselves against the rugged terrain of the Haliburton Highlands.
This year’s event will consist of approximately 150 km of trail each day including Extreme, MX, and Enduro tests. New this year, riders will be divided into pro and amateur classes to allow organizers to tailor the degree of difficulty of the terrain to the rider. The winning Pro riders will receive prize money in addition to the numerous Corduroy trophies
In addition to the Enduro there will also be a non-competitive Trail Ride and a GPS Dual Sport Ride. We will again have our popular spectator bus to take people to the special tests, river crossings, extreme tests and other exciting spots on the course. On the social side of things we will have a dinner, beer tent, a vintage enduro bike display, a tire change contest, and entertainment (to be announced) on Saturday night.
The event will be organized by the Corduroy Enduro Riders Association, led by Blair Sharpless, Warren Thaxter, Ed Strohak, Doug Kent, and Ken Hoeverman, as well as a dedicated team of over eighty-five volunteers.
We are also pleased to announce that The Corduroy Enduro will be affiliated with the MCC this year, and we look forward to working with them. The Corduroy enduro will be rounds 3&4 of the newly formed Canadian Enduro Championship Series, CECS. World Enduro Canada is the organizer of CECS under the MCC umbrella
